I'm trying to get a better idea of the profit and cost breakdown for independent dealers.
Basically where the profit comes from overall and how the CPC is divided by back-end costs.
* Is it safe to say that the average A3 is offered to the dealer for about 40-50% below MSRP and then they add a 20-30% margin on top of that?
* What is the breakdown on the "dealer cost" side of the CPC between toner, maintenance items, parts, and labor?
* And of the above CPC components which drive the most profits? (Service right?) Does anyone have a % breakdown?
* Is this changing?
A lot of questions here I know, and I appreciate any insight.
