I have a customer that bought a DSm755 SP. They rent out office space so I have set user codes that acccounts for the scans and copies. Now users can walk up do their stuff and she has a way, using the control panel to see how many copies and scan each code has made.
Problem is with the printing function. I set up the RPCS driver and inputing an ID and code into the dirver, then printing will increment the printer counter for that code. The rub is that the driver is only for one code. This means that using this method, she will need 30 instances of the RPCS driver, each with its own code. You see, while the users can scan and copy, she does all the printing! But wants to charge the printing against their code.
I cannot think of any other way except to manually keep track of each job. I dont blame her for not wanting 30 instances of a driver on her comp. I would find that to be a nightmare also.
Can anyone offer any suggestions on this situation? Or maybe a 3rd party solution.
Thanks for any help
