Re: PPDM on C4501

This new series comes with a security card in slot 2 and another SD card not installed. I presume its PPDM but there is no Licence sheet and that is where the PPDM serial number is located that has to be input into the program. Any ideas? I delivered them without the extra card becasue I didnt have an answer.

Our DSS briefly discussed PPDM with us on Monday and said that they're doing away w/ the license sheets largely because RBS & IKON were just throwing them away and/or hoarding them to use for large accounts. I don't remember where he said the license info could be found, but you may want to contact your DSS.

You now get license keys via the TSC website. Ricoh was having to pay for every license whether it got used or not and was about to scrub the program. This was a way for them to only have to pay for licenses that actually get used.
