Has anyone had this problem? With 2 recent installations, Plotbase will not print if the Stamp Board (on 240W) is enabled. Plotbase status screen says "Call for Service". 240W does not display anything but when you pull a service report off the mainframe, it lists a 330 service code. The only way to get rid of the problem is to disable the Stamp Board so that Plotbase can print. Perhaps we are doing something wrong?

I have seen this problem... like 18 months ago.

The 240w is generating an error, the display on the 240w shows nothing out of place but the Plotbase software detects the error and won't print until the error is cleared.

Unfortunatly, the solution in my situation was to disable the Stamp board in Service Settings. This option is turned on by default even if you do not have a stamp board.

This doesn't seem like it would be a fix in your situation.

I called Ricoh when I encountered this issue initially and they knew EXACTLY what the problem was and how to fix it. I remember asking at the time "what if I had a stamp board installed" and the guy didn't have an answer.

I'd call Ricoh and ask them about this since it has been a documented problem for so long, they should have an answer.
Thanks for the feedback on this problem. We did discover that the problem 240W's did have the Stamp Board enabled even though the board was not installed. Not sure if this was by default when the machine arrived or if a tech did it for some reason. Interesting though, if there is no Stamp Board installed but the feature is enabled in the SP modes, the button will light up and the operation panel will display features as though it was there. Bottom line, if there is a Stamp Board and it is enabled, there is no problem with Plotbase.
