I've added the PS option, dwg/dfx convertor and scanning to a 240W we have in the field.

After updating the TAN, I was unable to print the CAD files through Plotclient Win (there is no AutoCAD present). I received an error that the file format was not supported.

In talking w/ tech-support, I understand I have Plotbase 3.3 and need to upgrade to 3.7.1 which I'm downloading from the TSC website. Can anyone give me pointers on thr proper procedures and/or things to look out for?

To upgrade to 3.7.1, first check that 3.3 is shown in add/remove programs, then just run the 3.7.1 launcher. It will see the old version, uninstall it and install the new one for you. Unless it's important to have the old jobs imported into the new version (it can take a long time if there's a lot of them), choose 'do not import jobs from 3.3'. Also, update the kernal driver for the D-2 controller card and apply the new license file from rspfiles.com.
Don't forget to update each PCWIN version on the client PCs as well. There's a choice for DWG viewer at each PCWIN client PC. You'll need to install 'Libcad' on each workstation that wants to view DWGs inside PCWIN. It's not required to process the DWGs, just for viewing
