Photizo Group CEO Ed Crowley Named One of
Top 40 Most Influential People in Imaging Industry

MPS pioneer recognized for contributions to developing MPS industry

May 9, 2011, Orlando, FL -- Photizo Group founder, President and CEO, Ed Crowley, has been named one of the 40 Most Influential People in the Imaging Industry by The Week in Imaging.

The Week in Imaging (TWII) is an online, interactive one-stop news and information source that targets anyone who sells imaging solutions, including independent dealers, VARs, sales and service personnel in manufacturer direct branches as well as hardware manufacturers and solutions and service providers.

The imaging industry’s 40 most influential people represent the thought leaders who make a difference in the marketplace. These individuals come from all corners of the industry: OEMs, analysts, consultants, associations, and supplies and solutions providers. Nominations were compiled over the past four months, with selection based on comments from those who nominated these individuals and on final evaluations of all the nominees by TWII.

“I am honored to be included in such a remarkable group of achievers. Photizo Group has always worked to make a real contribution to the MPS industry through our conferences, consulting and research. Being included in this Top 40 list says we have been successful at that,” said Ed Crowley.

Ed Crowley, President & CEO, Photizo Group
One might think there was no such thing as MPS before Ed Crowley founded Photizo Group four years ago. Since then, he has become the Johnny Appleseed of MPS, spreading the MPS message around the world with his MPS conferences, while building an MPS empire in Lexington, Kentucky. It should come as no surprise that an ex printer guy would have the knowledge it takes to put up the good fight when it comes to transforming an industry’s mindset from moving boxes to selling services. As the industry evolves towards a services model, Crowley and company preach the gospel of MPS through their conferences, Webinars, and speaking engagements.

Ever hear the term “Hybrid Dealer”? That was coined by Photizo. They also defined the 3-Stage Customer Adoption Model for the MPS decision-making process—a model that’s been adapted as an industry standard, while expanding to include additional stages. In four short years, Crowley has built Photizo into one of the industry’s leading go-to sources for anyone looking to gain knowledge and insight on all things MPS.
