TOKYO--OKI Data Corporation, an OKI Group company specializing in the printer business, today announced that it has established a sales office in Russia. Following on from this, the company plans to enhance its presence in Russia by reinforcing its relationship with business partners and customers and in turn, strengthen its position in the Russian printer market in fiscal year 2011.

Russia's business printer market (excluding ink-jet) is the fifth largest in Europe and the eleventh-largest in the world. Impacted by the financial crisis, the market size for 2009 was 500 million USD which is expected to reach 1.1 billion USD in 2012 and 1.5 billion USD in 2014.
