Oki 3641

yes we have several units out and all of them have this kind of issue. OKI had issued new pcu units (new toner) about a year ago that was supposed to correct the problem but it didn't help much. Sorry but I haven't heard of a fix so far.

Thanx, seems like there is the same problem with the 3641, oki already replaced the two of the PCU's and hesd tec from Oki says the machine is operating within spec. Anyone else have anything on this unit?

For anyone out there who sells OKI...I am just finding out that the Finisher for the OKI CX3641MFP will only staple TWO SHEETS if the paper is any thicker than 20 lbs.!!! Does anyone know of a work around for this?

I can remember my OKI rep tellin me that the unit will wrap cover stock, this is the first I have heard of this. Will check this out.........

Where did this come from. It appears to be the finisher specs when not attached to an OKI. Are these specs in any OKI literature?

Sorry to tie you up with this but my DSM mimics what OKI tech support says which is that it will only staple two sheets. I need to know your source so that I can get to the bottom of this. The information you have does not appear in any OKI material as far as I know. That is why I suspect it is from the finisher manufacturer. However, when hooked to the OKI, OKI's auto media detect overrides everything and can't be turned off. The CX3641MFP Brochure does not show these specs.
