RICOH CORPORATION INTRODUCES THE AFICIO CL4000DN
Efficient Duplex Network Color Laser Printer
West Caldwell, NJ, February 24, 2005 – Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced the RicohÒ Aficio CL4000DN Color Laser Printer, a compact printing system that utilizes state-of-the art technology to provide superior print speed, exceptional image quality and simple operation, maintenance and connectivity. Designed for small to medium businesses up to large workgroups, the CL4000DN puts color and black & white printing at users’ fingertips at an unmatched total cost of ownership.
The CL4000DN is a desktop printer that can fit virtually anywhere in an office, and is designed to accommodate the demanding needs of large workgroups by satisfying their high print volume requirements. With standard duplex printing integrated into the CL4000DN’s design, it enhances two-sided printing performance. At 26 pages per minute (ppm), in both full color and black & white, the CL4000DN is able to produce documents efficiently and effectively at a professional business quality level. While compact, the CL4000DN is a robust printing system that provides end users with many advanced features, all at an exceptionally low total cost of ownership.

Exceptionally high toner yields and paper capacity of the CL4000DN allow for minimal user intervention, longer print runs and enhanced productivity overall.
The Aficio CL4000DN’s productivity features include:

To meet users’ growing business needs, the CL4000DN can be enhanced with the optional Ricoh Aficio IS200e Image Scanner upgrade that provides full color and black and white scanning at 16 and 33 ppm, respectively. The IS200e enables digital document distribution and sharing with the Scan-to-Email and Scan-to-Folder functions as well as convenient color copying with the Scan-to-Print option. High quality document resolution can be achieved with the IS200e Image Scanner’s 600 x 600 dpi optical resolution capability.
The Aficio CL4000DN is now available at a suggested retail price of $1999.00. The IS200e Image Scanner is now available at a suggested retail price of $1750.00.
