OK, I can't remember if I posted this already or not so forgive me if I'm repeating myself.
We have several clients that have complained about the OCR process taking too long. With single pass scanning it is nice to be able to use the OCR option to delete blank pages. However, this really slows down the scans and can sometimes create quite a bottle neck. Is this just as good as it gets or is there a way to minimize/eliminate the delay?
My plan is to install here in the office and do some testing. But, I'm afraid the response I get from tech support is going to be "it is what it is". I've found an alternative for deleting blank pages. But, I'm not happy with the OCR option and would recommend ICE for OCR. Any thoughts?
