in bringing information to marketplace

June 9, 2010 – Trumbull, CT– Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery, announced that the Océnomics campaign microsite has received the prestigious Outstanding Achievement award in the Interactive Media Awards™ competition sponsored by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC). The Océnomics campaign microsite was recognized for excellence in website design and development in the “B2B” business-to-business category. The Océ site was developed in conjunction with GyroHSR.

The nonprofit IMC organization is dedicated to elevating the standards of excellence on the Internet. Interactive Media Awards, Inc. (IMA) judges are leaders in web design, advertising, public relations, publishing, news and other industries. Nominations come from around the world from web design firms, advertising agencies and corporate marketing departments, as well as individual web designers and graphic artists, among others.

“The Outstanding Achievement award is the second highest honor bestowed by IMA and an extremely challenging award to win. Your website has excelled in all areas of our judging criteria and represents a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism,” said Anna Lawrence, Vice President of Communications, Interactive Media Awards, Inc.

The Océnomics microsite offers a variety of content for print professionals to learn about the business impact of Océ digital print solutions and how those solutions can help print professionals manage their business more effectively. Information tools include white papers, success stories, online tours, and other information to users in corporate, graphic arts, direct mail and service bureau markets.

“The Océnomics microsite received very high scores across the board, and we are especially pleased to be recognized for its content, feature functionality and usability. Our goal is to help customers understand and leverage the value Océ solutions bring to their businesses. The IMA recognition validates the Océnomics microsite as an award-winning resource to help customers find information to help them grow and succeed,” said Sheryl Pattek, Vice President, Marketing Services. Océ North America, Production Printing Systems division. “This award also validates our success in delivering a fully integrated marketing campaign specific to our industry using contemporary media as part of an integrated communications approach. Although we are a printer company, we understand that a total integrated marketing campaign must include all the tools available today. This is what our customers want, and this award shows we understand how to structure a successful integrated marketing effort combining both print and other media.”

“Océ has a powerful economic value proposition to provide to its customers. This proposition combined with GyroHSR’s capacity to ignite ideas delivered a microsite that helps educate printers on the realities of using an Océ printer. As with all successful campaigns, the collaboration between agency and client has been a key ingredient. We are honored to receive the award and look forward to seeing continued positive results from the campaign,” said Robert Ray, President, GyroHSR San Francisco.
