Featured machines in the RISO booth will be the new 2-color MZ790 and the HC500 Full Color Printer.

Danvers, MA, May 9, 2005 - RISO, Inc. will be on the floor at AIIM ON DEMAND 2005, May17-19, in Booth #1649 with its two newest offerings, the 150-ppm two-color MZ790 Print-Duplicator and the 105-ppm HC5000 Full Color Printer which was introduced last Fall at Graph Expo.

The MZ790 Printer-Duplicator, prints up to 150 ppm in two colors. This new unit, which will be introduced at the show, is designed for speed, versatility, high quality output, and ease of use. It can be used as either a single color or 2-color unit, printing two colors in a single pass. In addition, it is equipped with advanced user-friendly functions for greater convenience, including the new RISO Editor that lets the user quickly and directly specify which areas should be in which of the two colors, and even move individual blocks of text, photos, and illustrations. The MZ790 offers 600 dpi scanning and a 600e dpi resolution to ensure that even the finest details are picked up and transmitted to the master making section.

RISO will also showcase its HC5000 Full Color Printer, and company executives will be available to discuss the market’s reception to this revolutionary machine. Introduced last fall, the HC5000 provides fast and affordable full color printing for everyday communications, at speeds up to 105 pages per minute and at sizes up to 11”x17”.

How They Work...
• RISO Printer-Duplicators feature a plate-based ink-on-paper technology that is fast, clean, and efficient. They require no special skills to operate and use no hazardous chemicals in the printing process. RISO one- and two-color Printer- Duplicators print spot color jobs at up to 7,800 impressions per hour, for a fraction of a cent per impression, on newsprint, text and card stock, carbonless and envelopes, in sizes up to 11" x 17", in colors that cost virtually the same as black to produce.

• RISO MFPs provide copying, faxing, scanning and e-mail capabilities. Information can be shared easily between link-enabled RISO Printer-Duplicators and MFPs to streamline communications and further reduce expenses. Easy to operate, RISO MFPs are ideal for low-volume or full-color printing and copying.

• RISO Alpha-Link Software links MFPs and Printer-Duplicators to ensure customers the highest productivity in print and electronic document duplication and distribution, while aggressively containing costs. RISO Solutions Assessment 3/10 Software helps schools improve student performance and make data driven decisions for achievement of legislative requirements.
