As we gear up for the launch of our redesigned A3 report, what excites us most is being able to deliver a value-add to your bliQ subscription. With a tabular format and more bulleted lists of a device’s highs and lows, this revamped report will make it easier to find those key factors your customers want to know about. Not to mention some of the other improvements:

• Expanded evaluations of secure printing, scan to/print from USB and direct printing

The ratings box on the front page of our new report (left) uses gauges rather than words, and it streamlines test categories so you can more easily see top-level information right away.

In the Lab: Non-Networked A3 MFPs

In the coming weeks, we’ll publish a trio of reports on non-networked A3 MFPs. First up will be the Toshiba e-STUDIO2306

, followed by two that were tested in our UK lab, the KYOCERA TASKalfa 1800

and the Canon imageRUNNER 2202

. Compact compared with traditional A3 MFPs, all three proved to be budget-friendly—but how else did they perform? You’ll find out soon enough…
