As some of you know the P4P know has six different message boards, with the current hosting and technology I post all press releases on all boards and that is a duanting task to keep it updated!

I have entered some html code on the intro page here for Industry Press Releases, it will take you to another message board, it still has the look and feel of the RFG board and it is an open board, no membership required. I keep this board because I can link certain things off my blog.

Please give me your thoughts!

Art, here's a thought . . . how about having a true industry knowledge board where everyone share everything? If the mission of your website has been to inform then why not inform. Those individuals that a too unconcerned with our industry haven't and won't be bothered to sign up and learn. The scope of what you've created has grown worldwide. I don't fear that someone selling against me across town is gaining knowledge that will help him/her beat me - that would be a odd enough chance to take. I like what you've got but often wished I could go onto other forums to see their perspective on things. Again, just a thought.
HI Chguck, thanx for the response. It's and idea, right now I am moving forward with incorporating all the boards on to this one.

I am going to set up forums for where people can talk among themsleves and still beleive that certain items should be keep private. We'll see how this goes. However all of the general boards will be open to all members. Boards such as Announcements, New Products, Vendor Product of the Month, P4P Feedback, Industry Wide Discussion Group (NEW), General Sales Discussuions, Hot Leads, Solution Selling & Success Stories, Leasing, General Sales Discussions, Competition Lounge & Street Pricing, plus all of the press releases and everythin gin the convention lounge.

I think we'll get more cross over talk from other reps and owners that sell other machines, and it's going to be a hell of alot easier on me to update!

Anyone else have comments, would love to hear from all.
Other than Ricoh members, there are almost 500 members that belong to Canon, Kyo, KonicaMInolta, Sharp, Toshiba, Sharp and Xerox.

I'm not sure why they are not posting in the dedicated forums, most seem to be lurking (which is ok), I would like to see more activity in the other forums, however I can't force them to. Would opening up all of the forums make them post more? I'm not sure because they are not doing it now.

People need to stimulate the forums, ask questions in those dedicated forums and I'm sure others will then join in. It started that way many years ago with the Ricoh forums. All it take is one or two to get a forum going.

Becky, if you had access to the Ricoh forums you would see over 10,000 threads related to Ricoh, that's because those members have taken and active role in posting and answering questions in the forums.

If you have a question, post it in the Canon forum and start discussions, there will be someone that will respond because many members are posting in the open forums.

Would love to hear from Canon, KonicaMinolta, Kyocera, Toshib, Xerox and Sharp members.
