You're caught in between a rock and a hard place though because volumes are not high enough to invest into a production machine. The C5250 (50 ppm) is probably the most affordable model that can do everything you want, but you are going to be missing quality. Even the next model up, the C7260, is just a fast MFP. Canon production isnt very good IMO. The register is poor and parts are expensive, so it'll be difficult to maintain service profitability once parts need replacement. I have a customer using a used C5250 with a fiery on it. It's not the right fit, but still better than the Oki they would have bought if I didn't show something more aggressively priced. Better to look at Oce, Konica Minolta or Xerox. It's a tough sell, but I think p4p accounts are better off investing into high quality production equipment even if the volumes aren't there. They will be able to provide high quality, high variety and fast turn-around to their customers which ultimately will help grow their business.
