Need help with Ricoh & Windows XP Print Driver

Leave it up to me to find all the crazy stuff out there. We recently placed a Ricoh print device in an XP environment. The client can't change the OS because the one software program is their life and blood and there is no upgrade of the software available.

One of their workflows would be helped with "sample print" feature that comes with Windows 7 and above print drivers. Right now the client is using HP PCL5 driver and all is well except for the "sample print" feature.

Can we use a windows 7 ricoh printer driver with XP/
