Need ecopy help please!

The second issue, and more troublesome one, was that whenever the page size would change in the job, from letter to legal or legal to letter, the scanner would pause about 5 seconds each time. This would be unacceptable for them. We have no idea why it was doing this but seemed to be an eCopy ShareScan issue. When running through ScandALL it was fine.

note from Art: This was an email from my SE, we are using ecopy scanstation for scanners & v5.0 and
a fugitsu 6670 scanner. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I am assuming that the scanner has a TWAIN driver. Have you looked at the settings of the driver? Sometimes these settings can make a difference. There are also settings for the Scanner in the SHareScan Manager.

Having said all that, I was one of the first people to install an eCopy Scan Station on a Ricoh MP6500. No one told us that the Ricoh TWAIN Driver would NOT scan faster than 25 ppm no matter how fast the MFD was. We worked with eCopy (pre Nuance) to allow us to set up a hot folder on the Scan station that we could push scan to from the Ricoh. A little Rube Goldberg? Yes! But it saved the 6 machine deal and our reputation in the legal community.
