GP Series

Canon recently announced the expansion of their award winning imagePROGRAF line with the new GP Series, the world's first large format printers with fluorescent pink aqueous pigment ink. The new GP Series is offered in three print widths and four models including 5- and 10-color versions that boast the largest color gamut ever for an imagePROGRAF printer.

The expanded color gamut, Pantone licensing and Canon’s unique radiant infusion technology combine to produce

eye-popping vibrant colors that will allow designers to replicate the precise colors required for business branding and various market applications.

The new GP Series also offers a range of hardware and software features you have come to love in the Canon PRO-Series including intelligent media handling, remote device management, PosterArtist Lite and Professional Print & Layout.

National / AZON published pricing on these four models in October and we anticipate inventory in November. Get your orders in early as the initial interest in these exciting new models has been over the top.

Vanguard Digital Launches New Models and Software

The Vanguard Digital Team, currently exhibiting their innovative solutions at FESPA-Europe, has announced three new printers and one software solution. Here is a brief breakdown on the details:

VR6D-HS – This midrange 4 x 8 flatbed printer will feature Ricoh Gen 6 printheads and an electromagnetic linear drive system offering performance and quality at a highly competitive price.
VKH900-HS- Vanguard’s first ever hybrid printer. This new high-speed production-oriented model will be offered at a 98” print width with up to three rows of Kyocera printheads.
VK3020-HS-Similar to the current VK300D-HS, this new model will feature a larger vacuum bed to accommodate the increased demand for landscape printing with higher productivity.
Durst Workstation and Analytics- Leveraging their relationship with their parent company Durst, Vanguard Digital has added a robust software RIP as well as a workflow solution that features report generation, print times, job logs and more.
