MP C2500 Sub scan magnification

P 93 is scanner sub scan magnification.
I need to adjust the printer only. Then comes the scanner adjustment.
If I print a 300 mm line it will only be 298 mm on paper.
It's a 5 unit deal...

PostScript is installed, so there is an option for "scaling". The default is 100% and that may do it, if not 101% should.

I need to adjust sub scan magnification pretty accurate. So I'm looking for an engine adjustment.

Anyone?

SP4008 adjusts the speed of the scan motor, and so sub-scan magnification.

I have come to this conclusion: There is no manufacturer who guarentees 1:1 print. Main scan is often adjustable, but sub scan (lenghtwise) are not. And even if it were the fact that the paper is heated up in the fusing unit means that the lenght of the paper varies.
I have asked Ricoh, Minolta and HP.
My customer prints maps; 1 mm wrong and roads dont meet
