I'm not sure if this topic has come up before, & if it hasn't, I'm surprised, but I am curious as to what type of quotas most of the P4P members carry on a monthly basis.

When I started out of college 6 years ago, I had a $25k quota. When I asked for a raise 3 years later, it went to $40k. Then, I managed a team of 3 reps, & including my sales, quota was $115k. We tried a team structure where another rep & I had a combined quota of $100k per month, but that didn't work out. So, now I have a quarterly quota of $150k hardware/software and $10k in MPS contracts.

I look forward to seeing what else is out there.

I'd guess it hasn't come up because the numbers are only meaningful within their market.

I have some reps whose quota is $20k, some whose quota is $100k, and about every number in between.

Its somewhat similar to the Daily Calls for service technicians.

Once at a training class I heard a technician from NYC say he ran 10-15 calls a day, all inside one building. A tech from Alaska was there and said it sometimes took him 12-14 hours just to travel to one call.

I feel you there. Down here in DFW, we have 8 other RFG competitors including RBS & IKON on top of Direct Branches for most manufacturers, and it seems like ever since the Xerox acquisition of Global a few years ago, everything has become a price war since all of the manufacturer's affected by that acquisition started throwing away money to keep from losing MIF. Since then, the price of hardware and service has been slashed to the point of being ridiculous.
We used to have a Revenue & GP quota, but the GP quota only mattered when it came to making the annual President's Club Trip. I even remember getting written up one month when I was only at 50% of quota but sold more than the GP target, because I only sold refurbished machines that month. Over the past 3 or 4 years, GP has rarely been mentioned.
I loved selling GP, at least I could figure out how much I made when I walked out of the place with an order, today's complicated plans are only designed to confuse you with %'s, levels and bonuses.

BTW, I've posted a few polls in the Pollig section related to quota's and systems.

Would like to hear from others on this topic.
