COHOES, N.Y. — April 12, 2016 — Mohawk, North America’s largest privately-owned manufacturer of fine papers, envelopes and specialty substrates for commercial and digital printing, will showcase a major expansion of its wide-format inkjet portfolio at the Dscoop Annual Conference (booth #228), April 14-16, in San Antonio.

The Mohawk Wide-Format Inkjet portfolio continues to grow to meet the needs of the rapidly growing wide-format inkjet market and has expanded to 112 items, featuring 32 different product lines, including: backlit, lightblock, black polyester, adhesive, Dupont Tyvek, tear resistant fabric and more.

Three of Mohawk’s wide-format substrates have recently been certified by HP and will be running on the show floor at Dscoop:

  • Mohawk Wide-Format Inkjet Dupont Tyvek on the HP PageWideXL printer
  • Mohawk Wide-Format Inkjet Tear Resistant Fabric on the HP Latex 370 printer
  • Mohawk Wide-Format Inkjet Textured Lightblock Film, 9mil on the HP Latex 370 printer

Items in the expanded portfolio are optimized for Aqueous inks, Solvent/Eco-Solvent inks, Latex inks and UV-Cured inks, and many products are compatible across multiple ink types.
