Junior:

I just had a deal here in the States. Minolta was selling a 3010 w/feeder, cabinet and staple/finisher. There were selling the unit for $4,900 US dollars. I was not even able to compete wtih our 2027. My base cost (best) was still three to four hundred higher than what they were reselling the unit for.

We switched to a rental plan for the customer with a used digital so we could at least capture the service and supplies. Not sure if we'll get it. This customer di not give a rat's butt about features, all they were concerned was with price.

You can always tell the Minolta Konica story and ask if the customer really wants to get involved with compnay in transition.

Can anyone else help with this?
