Minnesota-based Marco Inc., which has an office in Sioux Falls, has purchased two copier and printer companies with offices in Iowa and North Dakota.
Marco bought Midwest Office Automations Inc., which has 21 employees in Sioux City and Storm Lake, Iowa. It also bought Midwest Business Systems, which has 27 employees in Bismarck, Dickinson, Jamestown and Minot, N.D.
The employee-owned company has acquired five companies in the past five months. Marco now employs 620 people at 35 locations in the Upper Midwest.
Marco, which is based in St. Cloud, provides voice, data, video and print solutions.
It entered the Sioux Falls market in 2009 with the purchase of All-Star Business Products, and in 2011 it bought Best Business Products.
