February 16, 2010—San Antonio—David Cameron, PhD, senior consultant and partner at Photizo Group, will speak at the IKON Office Solutions’ Digital Discovery event in San Antonio, Feb. 18, 2010 about the emergence of managed print services as an untapped source of potential IT cost savings.

“MPS is an emerging approach to outsource the office printer/copier fleet management to a competent 3rd party and in the process attain significant gains in cost reduction, productivity and energy conservation,” Cameron said.

Cameron is a senior consultant and partner at Photizo Group, the leading consulting and research firm for the managed print services market. He has over 20 years of experience in the hardcopy industry, including a range of positions from managing after sales support, engineering and business director leadership positions at Texas Instruments, IBM Global Services and Dell. While at IBM, Cameron was involved with managed development consulting. Most recently, Cameron was director of engineering for the startup of the Imaging Systems business at Dell, which quickly grew into a $1B business with the fastest growth in the industry. He also teaches in the Management Department at Texas State University.
