Job Description/Goals

For ASI System Integration, Inc., the Managed Print Services Consultant will perform the role of Pre & Post Sales support for the Managed Print Services Practice.

Responsibilities

•Conduct Hardware & Software Assessments.
•Analysis / Client Recommendations of optimized Multivendor printing hardware configurations.
•Understand MPS contracts utilizing various cost structures such as CPP, variable and fixed rates, leasing, and total cost of printing ROI.
§ Understand manufacturer and distribution supplies metering programs and offerings.
§ Install and optimize network printing management tools, hardware device settings, and printer drivers.
§ Perform Help Desk duties, remote management, webinars, and utilization of software tools.
§ Conduct customer and internal presentations
and training.

Required Experience Includes:

§ Minimum 3 years experience in a technical pre & post sales role within the printing and imaging industry working for either a manufacturer, managed print focus reseller or Managed Print Services provider.
§ Knowledge of Multivendor printing hardware; single function and multifunctional output systems, (monochrome & color) along with utilization of related utilities, drivers, etc.
§ Knowledge in print optimization sales and output fleet management tools (i.e. HP WebJet Admin; Xerox CentreWare, Lexmark MarkVision Professional, Print Fleet, FM Audit, or others).
§ Knowledge and experience performing document output assessments; volume analysis, document workflow analysis, “Cost per Printed Page” (color and mono), hardware & software recommendations.
§ Knowledge of Multivendor Document Management technologies, document scanning, e-mail integration, fax technologies, document lifecycle management.
§ Experience with print optimization, metering, managed print support contract structures for print hardware, copier – multifunctional systems, etc.
§ Sound business acumen and strong analytical skills combined with the ability to execute a plan and allocate resources appropriately.
§ Proven experience in strategic planning skills and a solid understanding of business relationships.
§ Ability to interface and communicate with all levels of management, both internally and outside of the company, on complex issues in both oral and written form.

Required Tools/Software Experience:
§ Microsoft Office – especially Excel; need high level skill set
§ Understanding of LDAP, Kerberos authentication, User Rights, scan-to-folder, scan-to-home directory, and other technical configuration settings associated with imaging and printing.
