Lyra Names Robert Palmer as Director of Its Managed Document Practice

Lyra Research announces that Robert “Bob” Palmer has joined Lyra as director of its Managed Document Practice. In this position, Palmer will head Lyra’s Managed Print Advisory Service. He will be responsible for Lyra’s analysis of the managed print services (MPS) market and for providing data-driven market intelligence to help major office equipment manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, and end users maximize MPS business opportunities.

Lyra Research (http://www.lyra.com), the digital imaging authority, announces that Robert “Bob” Palmer has joined Lyra as director of its Managed Document Practice (MDP). In this position, Palmer will head Lyra’s Managed Print Advisory Service (MPAS) (http://www.lyra.com/lh3m.nsf/AdvisoryServices/mpas). He will be responsible for Lyra’s analysis of the managed print services (MPS) market and for providing data-driven market intelligence to help major office equipment manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, and end users maximize MPS business opportunities.

Palmer has more than 20 years of experience in the printing and imaging industry. He is returning to Lyra after most recently serving as director of InfoTrends’ Digital Peripherals Solutions Consulting Service. In this position, he provided product coverage; trend analysis; primary market research; and hardware, channel, and service and supplies forecasts. Prior to his role at InfoTrends, Palmer was the director of Lyra’s Digital Photography Advisory Service and managing editor of The Hard Copy Observer newsletter.
