Both deals were more than 20K, less than 25K. One was net new, other was incumbent. Have special for net new and could not compete with cpc for .049, no minimum, 5 year guarantee for color at .049. MP C8002

 

Other deal was incumbent (kinda), we're servicing unit, can't use net new promo, alas we lost that also.  Both were lost to Mega Dealer.

 

It's almost funny that man dealers have a promo to get net new business but no much to save existing business. All we're doing is stealing each others business.

 

Profits on color CPP is outstanding with new systems. I see 3 cents for color as the norm in 5 years.

    Write your main contact(s) a nice email saying that you are sorry you lost their business, and if there is anything you can ever do to help them please don't hesitate to call or email you. Then check in six months and see how their service after the sale is. If their service is poor maybe your company can steal back the service. That does not help you immediately but the next time you put in a proposal you will NOT have to be the cheapest. Because they will have seen what cheap service looks like.
