Heard that techs are being laid off at dealers.....any info on what’s going on with this in this tough time?

Yes techs are being laid off or furloughed. Were had to do some of that as well. Only getting like 4 or 5 service calls a day now. Way down from the norm

I think you were going to see a lot of those people hired back in the dealer channel very soon based on the rules of the small business administration loan and grant packages.

@Jason H I sure hope so, in NJ it's been horrid to secure orders, let alone getting to talk to someone and getting a decision made. Seems like it's 2007 all over again

I am currently furloughed at the moment. My company is running a skeleton crew. No one has been laid off. The president has full plans to bring everyone back when businesses open. But nothing is guaranteed.

Furlough is supposed to be short term and the intent to hire the employee back where layoff is meant to be permanent
