I have set up fax speed dials on the 2022 for a medical office and they are concerned about HIPPA requirements.

I turned on Label insertion but the faxes I'm sending are not showing the To and From. I also programmed the second line to show Confidential, but since the Label insertion is not working I don't see how this will come out.

I programmed a standard message of Confidential that the customer can use by going into Sub TX mode.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong with the Label Insertion. And if there is any other solution for sending the information that may be required by HIPPA? The customer had a Brother and it prints a cover page showing this information with each fax.

Thanks for the help!

I am sorry but we do not know what HIPPA requirements are. Below are the necessary steps used to store a Speed Dial and use the Label Insertion feature:

1. Press User Tools.

2. Select System Settings.

3. Select Key Operator Tools and go to the second screen.

4. Select Address Book Management.

5. Select New Program to store a speed dial number.

6. Select Change in the User (Destination) Name line.

7. Input desired name and press OK.

8. Select Fax Destination on LCD.

9. Input Facsimile number and press OK.

10. Select Change in the Label Insertion line.

11. Select ON, input desired information and press OK.

12. Press User Tools to return to the normal opearting display.

13. Select the stored speed dial.

14. Select the Sub TX mode.

15. Select Options.

16. In the Label Insertion Line press Programed Name and OK.

17. Press Start, the fax will be sent and whatever information was selected/stored in the Label Insertion fields will appear on top of the received fax at the remote location.

This procedure was tested successfully at our location.
