Konica Minolta Business Solutions Italia SpA acquires KMI Srl
Milan, Italy, September 28th 2012
On top of a common path of growth and development, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Italia SpA acquires direct control of the dealer KMI Srl, which changes its name to Konica Minolta Business Solutions Roma Srl.
KMBS Roma Srl is the most successful single-brand Konica Minolta Partner (Centro Esclusivo) in sales and service of solutions for professional printing and document management in the area of Lazio and Campania, with a particular focus on the cities of Rome and Naples.
The transaction will increase the shareholding of Konica Minolta Italia in the company from 19% to 80% with effect from Friday, September 28th, 2012.
Fabio De Martini, President of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Italia SpA, says: "This is a strategic acquisition that strengthens the presence of our brand in Rome, one of the richest and most dynamic markets of Italy, where the main public institutions and large private companies are located."
