PITTSBURGH – A New Jersey corporation has filed suit against a Zelienople resident resigned to work for a competitor and has failed to return customer information.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. filed a complaint on Dec. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Teresa Natoli alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is a provider of document management technologies and information technology services and employed the defendant at its Pittsburgh branch. The suit states the defendant resigned her position as area vice president of sales on Sept. 7, and began working for Canon Solutions America on Sept. 11. The suit states Canon is a competitor of the plaintiff.

The plaintiff holds Natoli responsible because the defendant allegedly violated the employment agreement she signed with the defendants by working for a competitor in the same geographic location and providing the exact same services and for failing to return confidential customer information in her possession. read the rest here
