Ricoh Americas Corporation announced today that Katsumi “Kirk” Yoshida will assume the position of Chairman & CEO of Ricoh Americas Corporation effective January 1, 2008. Mr. Yoshida had previously served as Chairman & CEO of Ricoh Corporation (the former name of Ricoh Americas Corporation) from 1998 to 2004.

Mr. Yoshida will continue in his role as Chief Marketing Officer and Board Member of Ricoh Company Ltd., in Tokyo, the parent company of Ricoh Americas Corporation, and Chief Marketing Officer and Board Member of InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture company between Ricoh and IBM, based in Boulder, Colorado.

Nori Goto will continue to serve in his current position as Vice Chairman of Ricoh Americas Corporation and as President of Ricoh U.S., a division of Ricoh Americas Corporation that oversees the sales and marketing of Ricoh’s office equipment operations for the Ricoh, Savin and Lanier brands.

The current Chairman & CEO of Ricoh Americas Corporation Susumu “Sam” Ichioka will assume the position of Corporate Senior Vice President in the Marketing Group for Japan at Ricoh Company, Ltd., in January.

The Company said this change in leadership is being made to coincide with other recently announced changes to Ricoh Americas Corporation that will position the Company to be more efficient, cohesive and responsive to insure future growth.

Mr. Yoshida’s career with Ricoh has encompassed manufacturing, sales and marketing. He joined Ricoh in 1967, and has held positions in the Production Business Group in Tokyo, served as President of Ricoh Electronics, Inc., in Tustin, California, before joining Ricoh Corporation, first as Vice Chairman and then as Chairman.

In his current position as Chief Marketing Officer of Ricoh Company Ltd., Mr. Yoshida oversees all marketing efforts world wide excluding Japan. Mr. Yoshida is also a Corporate Executive Vice President and Board Member of Ricoh Company Ltd.
