Priport JP750

It's never been easier to enjoy fast, affordable digital copying and printing. With the Ricoh Priport JP750 you can benefit from clean, clear copies and prints produced automatically on one single unit, which can also add (spot) colour.

Whilst a photocopier will recreate an image on its drum multiple times to run multiple copies , a digital duplicator creates a master image on the master material that is then reused for each copy. Also, ink is used rather than powder toner, thus eliminating heat fusing which substantially improves reliability and reduces service frequency. This process provides amazing copy speeds of up to 90 pages per minute as well as running costs that are substantially less than traditional photocopiers. The more copies or prints per master, the less the cost. With reliability as standard, now you can enjoy fast results at an affordable price. Connecting it directly to any standard PC makes it even easier to use and ensures high quality reproduction.

The user-friendly LED operation panel gives you instant access to all menu functions, from making masters to printing. The logically located function keys and an easy-to-understand menu system make any job an easy job. Even changing colour drums is done in a minute, which means that making flyers or printing spot colours has never been easier.

Connecting it to any standard PC makes it even easier to use and ensures high quality reproduction.

Plus no platen glass, on a trip to Japan a few years ago, I had the pleasure if meeting the DSM for LAD, can't place his name rightnow. He had been trying to persuade Ricoh to make a less exspensive duplicator for the Latin Americam market.

This (the JP750) is probably the fruition of his work and others. I also vistied the Ricoh Russia site and this unit was featured on their site.
