SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 15 (SeeNews) - Japanese electronics company Ricoh has completed the acquisition of Germany-based document management and workflow automation solutions provider DocuWare, which holds a stake in software developer Nemetschek Bulgaria, the Bulgarian company said on Tuesday. 

"We expect the cooperation with Ricoh to open new horizons, and to further strengthen our participation in projects on a global level potentially leading to the expansion of our team," Georgi Brashnarov, founder of Nemetschek Bulgaria, said in a statement.

Nemetschek has been working with DocuWare since 1998, according to the statement.

Nemetschek currently employs nearly 300 people in Bulgaria.

According to Bulgarian commercial register data, DocuWare controls a 20% stake in Nemetschek Bulgaria. GB Soft owns 60% interest in Nemetschek Bulgaria, while Germany's Nemetschek holds the remaining 20%.

GB Soft is fully owned by Nemetschek Bulgaria's founder - Georgi Brashnarov.
