is panasonic still selling copiers?

Panasonic has been out of the industry for about 3-4 years now. There is no parts or R&D from them. There are only 3 distributors in the US...one on the west, east and midwest. All of their support people have taken other jobs with the distributors or in other areas. It was very frustrating dealing with the middle man because many times they did not know the answers and there was no other resources. If anyone is selling these boxes they are off lease systems or units that are sitting in a warehouse that they are trying to move. I would be very worried about getting parts because if the distributors do have them customers will be down for weeks. That is why it is easy to go after this base.

Obviously, you must be talking about Panasonic A3 copiers. Dealers are ordering their new A4 copiers and liking them. The main drawback on the new A4 is no Bypass unit.

SSGuy I see you are in Nova Scotia, could it be that they are not selling in the US but still alive in Europe?

We use to be a panasonic dealer and I talked to their direct tech support and they are still there, but you need a valid account number with panasonic to get through to them

What A4 model number are you talking about? The first color A4 that panasonic had was a piece of junk it was sooo cheaply made and had a ridiculous GUI that it was not worth the frustration for customers....plus the operational costs was very high.

I am seeing the DP-M340 Black only 35cpm and the KX-MC6020 21C/21C.

Dealers seem to like them.
