We have a lot of prospects in our database that we dont contact as frequently as we should because our outside reps are too busy. We are considering adding an inside rep/marketing assistant to help with some of our cycle calls - I'm curious - anyone else doing this, if yes, what are the responsibilities and compensation of this person.

No, we are not doing this, however this was a topic of much discussion last week. RBS has a plan like this in place, something to the tune of $800 added to the base of the equipment.

we discussed adding $450 fee would cover all aspects of network installation upto 10 users, including Scan2email, scan2folder, print drivers and training for the software. The CSR (Customer Support Representative) would also have the ability to "sell the extras" once in the door. The would have a "click quota" along with thier responsibility of training, supporting and installing.

If your dealership averages 20 mid size connected boxes a month. You can then assume that your average monthly reveneue would be $9,000 per month. $4,000 per month would be given to the CSR, plus gas expense, health etc.

We discussed that this person could come from the sales or the service side fo the buisiness, someone who has he comouter skills and the desire to learn and make additional revenue.

Hope we can institute soemthing like this. Would like to hear from others on this subject!
