ZCorum, a leading provider of managed broadband services and diagnostics for broadband service providers, announced today that it will provide a host of services, including diagnostics, network monitoring and management, provisioning and engineering assistance to Independence Light & Power, Telecommunications (Indytel), for their cable operations.
Indytel will be utilizing TruVizion, ZCorum’s innovative diagnostics program for cable providers along with TechVizion, the companion mobile app for phones and tablets used by technicians in the field. Additionally, ZCorum will provide Indytel with provisioning services for its cable modem devices and engineering assistance from the ZCorum staff.
Indytel was previously using an in-house diagnostics tool that wasn’t providing the insight they needed into their network. TruVizion provides advanced diagnostics for cable modem networks, including modem data, historical readings as well as interactive mapping. TruVizion will give Indytel’s operations a tool for troubleshooting individual end-user modem issues, tracking down plant-wide problems, and identifying opportunities to proactively improve performance.
Indytel was looking for more automation with their provisioning system as well as ongoing network support. In addition ZCorum will be assisting Indytel in upgrading its CMTS.
