Ikon, GE Capital Settle Antitrust Claims Over Copier Leases

Law360, New York (January 04, 2013, 7:32 PM ET) -- Ikon Office Solutions Inc. and General Electric Capital Services Inc. have settled an antitrust and fraud case brought against them by companies that competed with Ikon on photocopier leases, according to a joint filing in California federal court from Friday.

Ikon and GE Capital — named as a defendant because it bought and enforced some of Ikon's contracts — reached a settlement deal with several business services providers, including NewCal Industries Inc., according to a joint stipulation that asked the court to dismiss the suit.
