It was about four weeks ago that I scheduled and appointment with a net new account looking for four A3 color devices. We met, did the discovery and since we were still in COVID19 I emailed the proposal. I knew there was going to be competition so I gave it my best shot.
We have a tentative call set for follow up on the 20th. I had to cancel due to the birth of my second granddaughter. I finally had the chance to call today and rescheduled that appointment for the review of the proposal for tomorrow.
I was also told that they would need two additional quotes from other vendors. I'm find with that, however I was then told that those other two vendors never provided quotes. In fact it's been two weeks and nothing. I wanted to say "why even bother with calling them again, just buy from me". But I knew it was not that persons decision to make and had to follow protocol.
I don't understand......you get a lead handed to you on a silver platter for a decent revenue opportunity and you don't even respond? WTF!
Well I'll be all over that when I speak to them tomorrow and will be telling them if they can't provide a quote in a timely manner just think about how good their support will be
