I had pitched this client in late November for an A3 color MFP.  Basically had then on the phone twice, send the info and was then ghosted until yesterday.  That client sent me an email about additional solutions to be added to the quote and some questions about MA. Wanted me to get back to them ASAP.

I called then 30 or so minutes after the email. Went through most of what we needed. I was then asked if we would lease to an LLC? That question raised a red flag and I stated we could do that and then asked how long they were in business.  I found out they started in 11/2020. At that time I told them that all of the leasing companies would require a personal credit check of the managing member or another managing member. I then asked if that was going to be a problem. Was told it maybe. I was asked to stay on the link while they checked.  When we were reconnected I was told we're no longer interested. I tried to get out maybe thinking about a short term rental however they ended the call.  Even sent an email about the rental but no answer.

After the call I realized I was not there first call and probably not the last since ever salesperson prior to me told then the same thing.

I guess people don't believe they have to personally sign for anything any more?
