I was there, I saw the A3 PageWide devices,

HP would not give numbers on ink cost, although they did give of the yield of the cartridges.  Pricing for cost per page seems like it will follow the traditional BTA pricing model.  Which means no device billing for maintenance nor unlimited clicks like the HP PageWide XL 8000's (wide format).  Dealers will price the cost per page model.

Warranty on the print head is 3 years.

HP is touting there value points with this device:

  • Acceptable office color
  • Security (most secure devices on the market)
  • Tiered Billing for color is available

I think all of these models will be reliable when printing, the question will be the document feeder and the finisher.

There are many features, two many to list, there are a couple of copy features missing. But who the hell copies documents anymore?

If you think of any other questions please ask, it may jog my memory
