HP admits another security vulnerability

Millions of HP OMEN gaming laptop computers, OMEN desktop PCs, HP

Pavilion laptop computers and several HP Envy models, were found to have a flaw that would allow a “Escalation of Privilege and Denial of Service” attack by a hackers
- Could allow a hacker to create a profile with administrator rights to access data
- Computer could also be used in a massive botnet
- HP release an update to fix the problem that users must download
