If it works as planned, it will be better than AirPrint since it won't require access to the WiFi connection.  Even on the last series of Ricoh equipment that had its AirPrint certification, customers that said AirPrint was mandatory to earn their business ended up not using it, because they didn't want all of the Bonjour traffic. This is completely unobtrusive, requires nothing from IT (aside from allowing it to be turned on) and can very much improve the user experience if we can make it easy for users to setup their presets.
