We have an ink cartridge that holds 100ml he cost for the cartridge is $65.

$65/100 = .65 per milliliter of ink

I'm told that the amount of ink used in a standard wide format drawing would be  under .1 milliliter per square foot.  Let's call it .1ml for one square foot.

The cost would then be .065 per square foot.   Is this correct?

According to my cost sheet from Canon, the IPF (5-ink) models average 0.012 to 0.029 per sq. ft. in ink costs when printing monochrome cad drawings.
