Well, that's a great talk track, but it isn't true.

It's true they aren't being sold any new RFG equipment, but they can still sell what they have in inventory and will be authorized to buy parts and service those machines for several years.

I think a better talk track is the diminishing level of support Global will have for RFG products as they switch to Xerox. They will be shifting more and more techs to Xerox as their Xerox population increases. How will their service be in two years when 90% of the techs are working on Xerox instead of their RFG product?
The way I heard it (this was back when Ricoh dropped them) was that due to the way the contract was written, K-M had no choice but to live out their contract (which had two more years on it).

Back to the service issue, I just didn't think it was correct to say that Global would "not be authorized to service" Ricoh equipment.

I think this is a great subject to speak to customers about because, as Old Glory mentioned, there will be difficulties for them in their relationship with Ricoh. Since it's such a great thing to talk about, there's no reason to throw out a phrase that Global can prove is untrue.
