GBC Update!!!!!!

I had the opprotunity to visit the Ricoh booth and the GBC at the "Print On Demand" Show in NYC.

Both Ricoh and GBC report that there is now a 4 minute "time out" mod (eprom) for the GBC, this should fix the unit turning off after 30 seconds int he sample mode and 60 seconds in the copy mode.

Also GBC has reported that a "Chad Shroud" modification kit is available for these units, and they are hoping this will correct the "chads" being dispered through out the finsiher and GBC Stream Punch.

I was told there is a mode in route to us as I a write and we should have it in a few days. I will post additional information as soon as I have it.

I am sorry to say that the moddificationt that Ricoh sent us did not work correctly. They did fix the "time out" but the so called "chad shrowd" did not work properly.

The customer instructed us to remove the GBC's. Has anyone else had any sucess with this mode kit??
