GBC Adds Finishing Touches At ON DEMAND 2007
GBC to Feature Automated Finishing Solutions with Partners at 2007 AIIM/On Demand Conference & Expo.

Northbrook, IL, April 4, 2007 - GBC, an ACCO Brands company (NYSE: ABD) and market leader in the manufacturing and distribution of binding and laminating products, is proud to announce that several automated finishing solutions will be showcased at the 2007 AIIM and ON DEMAND Conferences & Expos in Boston, April 17-19.

In GBC’s booth #1251, one featured partner solution will be the StreamPunch™ III in-line automated punch connected to the Ricoh Aficio 3260C color multi-function printer (MFP). The StreamPunch III accelerates color document workflow by creating in-line punched documents in all the popular binding styles while running at speeds up to 55 pages per minute (ppm).

In the Ricoh Americas Corporation booth #619, GBC’s StreamPunch III will be running with various Aficio devices. These solutions combine printing, punching, and collating into one step to accelerate the finishing workflow and lower labor costs. The workflow is completed when punched documents are bound with GBC’s ProClick® Pronto™. The ProClick binding spine opens easily for removing and adding pages to bound documents.

Another integrated solution for in-line punching to be promoted in GBC’s booth is the Professional Punch-A1 for the Canon imageRUNNER® 7105 multifunction monochrome printer. This system increases document finishing productivity as it punches at speeds up to 105 ppm. Jobs are submitted from the desktop or graphical user interface to create ready-to-bind documents. Visit booth #1400 or www.cusa.canon.com for more information.

GBC’s SmartPunch™, in Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America booth #416, is the newest on-line punch accessory to accompany the new multi-function printer platform from Sharp: MX-M850, MX-M950 and MX-M1100. The SmartPunch features job submission from desktop or MFP, job recovery, and punching at the rated speed of the printer, up to 110 pages per minute.

GBC, CP Bourg, and Xerox Corporation have partnered to showcase a complete end-to-end workflow by creating finished perfect bound books on-demand in the CP Bourg booth #631. In this workflow demonstration, the Xerox DocuColor® 8000 Digital Press will first print color book covers. The covers will then be laminated on the GBC Delta laminator with GBC Digital Lay-Flat® Film. Post lamination, they will be placed in the cover feeder of the CP Bourg BBF 2005 Perfect Binder where they will be married to the book block output from the Xerox DocuTech® 180 Highlight Color printer. The inline Xerox Manual & Book Factory with a Challenge CMT330 Digital 3-Knife Trimmer will create finished and trimmed perfect bound books ready to be packed and shipped.

“We are encouraged to have so many of our valued partners showcase the newest solutions for lamination and in-line binding at the 2007 AIIM/On Demand Conference and Expo,” says Rick McCallion, GBC’s Vice President of Product Technology Partnering.
