Fujitsu has been recognised as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed Workplace Services (MWS) in Europe. The report evaluates End User Outsourcing (EUO) services as well as new digital workplace services that provide cloud-first, automated and integrated support to end users. Gartner positioned 15 vendors according to two main criteria – completeness of vision and ability to execute.

As noted in the report, "leaders deliver their service solutions skilfully, have a clear vision of the direction of the service market, and are actively building and improving their competencies to sustain their leadership positions. The Leaders quadrant indicates the direction of the MWS market." The Gartner report also states: "MWS is centered in delivering a digital workplace experience to end users so organizations can leverage their digital dexterity in the development of new digital business services, boosting employee engagement and agility through a more consumerised work environment."

Fujitsu provides an extensive portfolio of End User Services, and currently manages more than five million workplaces worldwide. Offerings include traditional and virtual desktop services, managed mobile, collaboration services and support, all underpinned by the company's Digital Business Platform MetaArc. To help businesses reap the benefits of digital transformation and manage security concerns as well as changing user needs, Fujitsu takes a co-creation approach, working in tandem with customers. Its solutions strike the balance between customers' existing robust IT infrastructure and fast digital IT, aiming to connect people, data and applications and transform working environments.

Fujitsu believes that it is positioned as a leader by Gartner and highest among vendors for its ability to execute because of its strategic vision and clearly-defined roadmap. Fujitsu offers a comprehensive services portfolio combined with a focus on creating meaningful business outcomes. This begins with consultancy, spans application transformation and culminates in the delivery of Managed Workplace Services, including specialised solutions across a number of industries, and technologies including the Internet of Things (IOT).

Karyn Jeffery, VP and Head of End User Services, Global Delivery, Managed Infrastructure Services at Fujitsu, says: "We agree with Gartner's prediction that by 2020, the greatest source of competitive advantage for one-third of all organisations will come from the ability of the workforce to creatively exploit digital technologies. We believe that Gartner's positioning of Fujitsu as a leader in this field is a testament to our ability to help our customers enhance agility and take steps towards achieving that competitive advantage."
