While UV LED curing technologies have been around for more than a decade, converters have been reticent to adopt–citing a host of issues and concerns. Fujifilm, however, believes it has differentiated itself with the new Illumina LED retrofit system.
In addition to productivity increases and cost savings, Fujifilm is promoting improved consistency. Fujifilm has co-developed the Illumina LED curing system with its ink chemists to serve as a one-stop shop for the entire process, from the equipment to the inks.
