Print company Fuji Xerox has told its staff it plans cut about 100 jobs, after its printing volumes dropped 85 per cent as a result of Covid-19.

The job cuts will be made across the New Zealand operation and newly acquired business CSG.

Managing director Peter Thomas said he did not expect printing volumes to recover to pre-covid levels and the decision was made to strengthen the business for the future.

“This is a difficult and stressful time for all our staff. We will be providing those directly affected by the proposal with additional support throughout this process,” he said.
